My thesis is going well, the topic has changed a bit since I last talked about it. I've finally settled on discussing and critiquing how the [global/capitalist] food economy's dynamics and truths are mystified (ie food and packaging origins, subsidies, ingredients etc) and how it prevents people with lower access to education, transportation, money from flourishing. Basically, food is important for way more reasons than just nutrition, and government and corporations keep people in the dark about what they are and what they could be eating for their own advantage and to the eaters' detriment. I'm excited :D I'd love to hear from anybody interested in food justice, so if you know someone pass my information along to them!
Oh! I've got a new favorite website. Loads of fun and hahah I spend way too much time on it.
